The room is organised around the three things that most reward expert fitting: riding hats, tall boots and body protection. Within each, we hold a small number of makers whose work stands scrutiny at close range.

Riding Hats

Fitted to the head, not the size label

Head shapes differ more than sizes suggest. We measure, look at how each shell sits and try a couple of genuine alternatives side by side, so you can understand the choices rather than guess at them.

Children's through to adult sizes, entry-level safety options through to premium and limited-edition models — and no rush at any point.

Italy

Made in Italy, KEP Italia helmets are designed with as much attention to appearance as to protection, with shells, frontal inserts, liners and finishes chosen to suit the individual rider.

KASK designs and manufactures its helmets in Italy, pairing carefully engineered shell construction with fine finishing materials and a strong focus on comfort.

France

Designed in France, Samshield helmets are known for their elegant lines, light weight and a wide choice of finishes, with a customisable approach that lets each rider make the hat their own.

Germany

German-engineered and built around the idea of protecting people, uvex helmets are known for good ventilation, low weight and a stable, comfortable fit for riders who are out every day.

United Kingdom

British-designed and known for considered, coordinated equipment, LeMieux brings the same thinking to hats and accessories: clean lines and restrained colourways. We currently hold LeMieux in children's sizes.

Tall Boots

Measured properly, fitted to your leg

Height, calf, instep and ankle are taken by hand. Brands and models fit differently, so we talk through the differences between the boots we stock and help you find the one that suits your foot and leg.

Where standard sizing isn't right, made-to-measure options may be available depending on the brand — and if something needs adjusting later, you know where we are.

Italy

Handmade in Italy from fine calfskin, Tucci boots come from a long bootmaking tradition. Made-to-measure options mean the boot can be built to your own measurements rather than to a standard size.

Parlanti has made riding boots by hand in Rome for generations, using fine Italian leathers and a close, elegant cut. Made-to-measure options are available.

The Netherlands

Petrie has made riding boots in Holland since 1938, combining traditional craftsmanship with durable leathers and a practical, long-lasting build. Made-to-measure sizing is available.

Italy

EGO7 brings contemporary Italian design to riding wear, with boots cut for a close, athletic fit in soft leathers at a notably fair price.

Body Protection

Fitted on the rider, not from a hanger

We stock Race Safe body protectors and air jackets and fit them here. Level and fit are checked on the rider, the same way we fit hats and boots.

Race Safe is British-made and built for work in the field. Protection only earns its place if you'll wear it, so we look at how each piece sits, how it moves with you and how it feels after a few minutes of moving around before you decide.
